Neat. I heard that several of the early workers for David Wilkerson and Teen Challenge came from Lee.
It was a 1954 GMC bus with the Starter Button on the floor. I had it for the longest time. We preached and sang from the top of this old bus, slept on it many times, was ran out of NY City because I drove into what it said was the Bus Lane and I went through a tunnel. I was picked up by the Police in Buffalo, NY but God delivered me again. Haul my large revival tent in it, towing my car behind; only later to pull a large trailer with it. My wife says that it was the most exciting time of our ministry. LOL
I don’t know. There were a few that went into Florida. Later, some friends of mine (did not attend Lee College as students), they went to the nude beaches of Florida to preach to the nudist. I did not think that would ever work. I think I was right because they as a couple later divorced. Got back into drugs, fornication, etc. So sad. I went into the cities.
Some people who attended Lee College in the fall of 1970-1973 may recall seeing my bus and hearing me preach in the area.
