(It comes just before “a fornicator like Esau”, and it comes just after “peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord”.
There is a reason it is so nicely sandwiched there.

This is a common attitude of an arrogant and prideful person who lacks humility in Christ. It’s sad to see that some people will never learn from their mistakes.
