In 2 Kings 4, the Shunamanite woman when faced with the death of her son, her promise from God if you will, when asked by her husband about the boy replied Shalom (it is well). When asked by Elisha’s servant, Gehazi, as to the health of her son and if every thing was ok with her, replied, Shalom (it is well). FInally, Elisha returned and prayed for her dead son and he was resurrected. She saw her son risen before he was risen. Was she in denial? She never SPOKE her problem, she only spoke her faith. She believed in the GOd who calls those things that are not as though they were. She spoke Peace – shalom – it is well in the midst of the storm of her life.
