According to FDA protocol, if there is a an existing treatment for a particular disease (covid etc,) then no EUA ( Emergency Use Application) will be given for an experimental vaccine or treatment. This is why Fauci and others discredited treatments that do in fact work (especially early on) like hydroxyqloroquine and ivermectin. If those cheap treatments had efficacy then the billion dollar experimental vaxxes wouldn’t have been give EUA’s. My father always said follow the money. Hard agree. He clearly doesn’t even know what PubMed is or how it works and thinks that the NIH is the publisher of the hypothesis (NOT study) he is referencing. That’s pretty scary. Additionally, it’s clear that he didn’t read the article in which a spokesperson for Stanford refutes the paper author’s claims. He asks who is checking the fact checkers, which is just another way of saying he’s not doing it, even though the article cites its sources so that the fact checker can easily be checked. So the scientific answer to why Israel is NOT vaccinating the already infected is that cogent Israeli public health officials and physicians recognize that: 1) the majority of the naturally infected are already immune to the virus and 2) vaccinating persons whose tissues have been recently infected with the virus risks causing dangerous systemic inflammation and tissue injury.

While in grad school pursuing an M.Div. and then a D.Min, we were taught to be careful about rhetoric as opposed to research. For one to say I know a doctor who won’t get vaccinated; or I know a pharmacist who refuses the vaccine, is nothing but rhetoric. It means nothing. I have nurses in my congregation who refuse the vaccine and other nurses who have been fully vaccinated. All of the physicians in our church are fully vaccinated. But this means nothing. It’s anecdotal rhetoric. I have a pediatrician neighbor who believes in reincarnation. I have another physician friend who is an atheist. Does this mean I should adopt reincarnation and stop believing in God? It’s nothing but rhetoric. It’s no better than saying but mama said…
