I was trying to track down the stats in this article. Apparently they are from ‘The Baptist Press.’ I’d like to see the stats and the details of the survey that if the wife converts, 17% of households make decisions for Christ, but if the father converts 93% of households convert.Still, it is an interesting article.www.bpnews.net/15630/want-your-church-to-grow-then-bring-in-the-men________________
Some of the links to this article are dead. It might be possible to track down the article, though.whale.to/b/importance_of_fathers.html
Re: Maybe I should stay home from church
That caught my eye, too. Maybe some of the dads who go with their wives just go to make the wife happy, or church is just something for the family to do. The one link that did work did not have this 44% figure________________
There is more truth there than most folk realize. I attended for many years just to make my wife happy. After a USN Chaplain ordered me to! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
