  1. I wouldn’t donate a used handkerchief to such blatant error. Unfortunately OT, he seems to have no problem finding a place to perform. People of his ilk seem to have a following somehow or another and as always,it’s the gullible who seem to keep enabling them with their pocketbook. TB and his kind exist because people continue to support them________________“Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

TB and his kind exist because people continue to support them. When some of the top leaders of the charismatic movement lay hands on him and anoint him then you have to question the entire movement. When Bill Johnson declares him restored and even offers evidence of the restoration being that his so-called wife is now manifesting the same gifts that his first wife did, then you know the movement is seriously in trouble. Excellent post. People like TB and the NAR movement are why I like to say I’m a non Charismatic Pentecostal. I want no association with them________________“Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? 5. I really don’t like getting involved in these types of threads, but when serious doctrinal error is being passed off as Truth, I just have to jump in here.Bill Johnson teaches that when Jesus came to earth that he set aside his divinity. This is sometimes called Kenosis, and teaches that Jesus was no longer divine from birth to His ascension. Are we to believe that Jesus became just another man? Sorry, but if Jesus was not divine,or perfect, how could he have been the sacrificial lamb?Bill also teaches that Jesus was born again in the resurrection. This is the same nonsense taught by Copeland and J. Meyer. He also heavily involved in teaching WOF. I don’t know Bill Johnson, but I have researched and read some of his writings because I like to stay abreast of what’s being taught out there. From what I have learned I know that I want nothing to do with Bethel, and I encourage everyone to do their own research and come to their own conclusions. Far from recognizing him as a prophet/apostle I would classify him as a false teacher to be avoided. Of course, you may see him in a different light________________“Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? Because none of those things makes someone a Christian.”

  6. To my knowledge, Bill doesn’t teach that. I have read some of his books, know him personally and know people that minister with him. He doesn’t teach kenosis. What he teaches and what I also teach is that Jesus laid aside His Glory but NEVER His divinity. Where the misunderstanding comes from is that while Jesus was always God, He did not do His Miracles as God. He did them as a man who was FILLED with the Spirit of God. If He did them as man then it is impossible for us to do what He did but He tells us that WE will do GREATER works than He did when WE have received the Spirit ourselves. That is what He teaches, that is pretty classical Pentecostalism as far as I am concerned. Your assertion of Bill as a false prophet is based on mis-characterizing his teachings as far as I can tell.
