How could He believe this?He stated it in a sermon...and after the blowback he received...he was forced to recant.Wonder what else he thinks about those of us parents that took our kids to a small church

I saw the whole sermon in context and understood what he was saying but he didn't convey the message correctly. It's amazing how a preacher say one thing wrong and he gets slammed all over the place. What if that happened to regular guys? There are people that out here that say stuff all the time that will never get called out. But, unlike most everybody, Andy tweeted out an apology:@AndyStanleyThe negative reaction to the clip from last weekend's message is entirely justified. Heck, even I was offended by what I said! I apologize.

According to Eddie Andy need a interpreter. I don't think so. He said Exactly what was in his heart. To make a comment like this shows his decernment! He has waffled on several issues the last several years. I have never been a Andy Stanly fan and this is just another reason why. What if God tells some one to go to a small church. That did not cross Andys mind I guess! This shows how Spiritual small Andy Stanley is
