I pastored a church once where several of the ladies spoke in tongues in sign language. They would stand in the altar with their eyes closed and hold up their hands and make all kinds of hand gestures. Hopefully that was just another fading fad.

So these ladies could speak/hear like any normal person, but they did hand gestures (sign language) and said they were speaking in tongues in sign language? That's about it OTCP. Passing fad. If it were not so serious it would have provided many moments of comedic relief. It probably did anyway
