When I was a new Christian back in the extreme early 80's, I used to read verses like these you posted and think , I thought the early church was allot more spiritual than we are today. Surely they could not have had many problems with fornication. But then I began to study Romans chapters 7 and 8 and realized that without the Spirit of God in us, we cannot even begin to govern our carnal nature and mind, or please God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, in any century. In fact, in Acts 15the Jerusalem elders made it clear that if one can abstain from fornication, he does well
