We have a regime who has fundamentally altered our nation and foreign policy. An administration that has flouted the Constitution, the rule of law, and the security of this nation. Their candidate wants to build on the past eight years. And we have Republicans who won't support the party nominee because he isn't soft and cuddly? For crying out loud

If it is a straw man, it is in good company with the straw man that says Trump attacked a gold star family

Again, why is there more outage over that than over the volumes of Hillary's crimes? Help me understand here. IMO it's media hype

RS,Here's my attempt to explain your frustration over people holding Trump to a higher standard.1. Democrats have no standards other than an agenda. Therefore their voters don't really care.2. Republicans in general are the people with standards. They DO hold their candidate to a higher standard (because its THEIR candidate). So yes, Trump is held to a higher standard. That's simply because Hillary is held to NO standard. As for the media, who cares, expecting them to be in the Republicans' court is ridiculous. Anytime a Republican wins, its in spite of the media.

We all are held to the standard of Decency , Democrats and Republicans. Most Democrats and Republicans have decency. Trump , Once Again , demonstrated that he has none and his only agenda is himself. To argue why we dont raise Cain about hillary is nothing more than a smoke screen. Its exactly like saying dont look at hillarys emails because Charles Mansion done a lot worse than this. Lets all focus on him instead of her emails.

OK, fair enough.Let's now consider that Trump is being held to a higher standard than most Republicans. Actually he's not. He started out with the lowest standards of any republican presidential candidate in years. No presidential candidate has said as much stupid stuff as he has. He's the poster child for opening mouth without any thought behind it.
