Here's a picture I took of Venus and the crescent moon this evening.

and thought the same thing you did,Does God have a sense of humor or is He trying to tell us something? I'm sure Muslims think so. I vote for humor.

I love night sky watching. I know a friend who has the star app. When I learn to use the 'smarter than me phones' we have, I want to get that.My combined knowledge of the heavenly bodies is the Sun, Moon, the North Star, the big dipper, little dipper, the milky way and my wife's. Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Nope, Cojak knows me better than that.My son had pointed out Venus and the crescent moon the evening before when the moon was below Venus, and I made a mental note to look the next evening because I knew the moon would be even closer than it was the prior evening.

That's cool.I had not realized Mars was out there when I took my picture, but it probably was early enough in the evening that with the light pollution in our subdivision it would not have been visible to me right then. If the sky is clear enough tonight, I will look again. Mars should be in a similar place in relation to Venus (though the moon will have moved).I was making a blog post about my picture and wanted to check to see if everything was far enough south of west that the astronomers were calling it the

Okay, I did see Mars tonight in the line between Venus and the moon. I took a picture of Venus and the moon again, but Mars was not bright enough to show up on my camera. I enjoyed seeing it, though.

This is interesting. I really do wish I could remember astrology, but at my age, I have trouble remembering my name.I pastored a church once where my clerk was a Coon Hunter. His standard directions was, if you know the Three sisters you will never get lost. I never learned the three sisters.BJ my friend, I probably miss many points here on Acts. But I am tolerated. I do appreciate that. Age brings you to the point of what is important and what is nice to know. sometimes you forget both! Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
