I was taught, in the COG that CHRISTIANS, REAL CHRISTIANS never sin, not 'cannot sin'. I do remember that Christians could make a mistake, BUT NEVER SIN!I don't guess it is the same, but also ABOUT as in error as what you pointed out. I don't know when we 'allowed that Christians do sin', but I have heard it in our churches and read it here on Acts.I have actually met people I believe NEVER SIN, Blessed people with the mind of Christ. On the subject of sin, WE cannot spin it any other way, the fact is our church, the COG believed taught that when a Christian 'backslid' (sinned, cussed or smoked) he was not a Christian when he did, but a SINNER. So it was not the CHRISTIAN that sinned but a sinner, because a Christian CANNOT sin. Me & thousands of others have seen Fallen Christians, Go to the alter and get RE-saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy GHOST, all in one trip down. WE do not have to do that today, wonder why that is? Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
