I hope the NSA make more productive use of their time than to listen in to conversations like that.I'm not in Hawaii anymore. I don't remember my wife ever cooking any traditional Hawaiian food. She found it a bit bland. They don't use a lot of spices.She learned to make two Hawaii dishes, loco moco and spam musibi. Loco moco is hamburger patties and brown gravy with an egg on top. Spam musubi is a kind of sushi made with Spam. It's Spam, seaweed, and rice. She has a little rice chaper thing the shape of Spam. Our kids love those things. We used to buy them at 7 Eleven. She learned to cook some Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean dishes while we were there. She learned a lot of cooked I don't think we went to a luau--as in the party with roasted pork- all the time we were there. I think the thing we went to was a regular buffet. We literally ate luau, taro leaves, but not the luau party like you see on the movies and TV episodes set in Hawaii. I was in grad school and we were poor. We weren't going to spend $80 on tickets to something like that. But we did eat that kind of pork before
