Unless you have some unusual medical condition, maybe bananas could be bad for you. If you are trying to cut out all carbs and get 'cut', bananas probably wouldn't help much. That's a 'first world problem.' I'm trying not to become a banana snob. When you get one of those small very sweet bananas that have blackening skin but are perfectly ripe on the inside, that ripened on the tree or right after it was picked, it's hard to fully appreciate the larger bananas commercialized in the US that have been picked green that turned yellow in a refrigerated shipping container on a boat somewhere or hanging in a grocery store. Fresher bananas are sweeter. They look rotten if you are used to the look of bananas that were picked green. There are sweeter varieties than the ones in the US
