Oh, you mean a one week vacation each year to volunteer at youth camp and a one week vacation every other year to attend General Assembly?

Let's guess... someone from your state has too much vacation time?Which state? I'm sure it varies by state.People in Florida deserve more vacations than most because it is too hot to stay here all the time

People in Florida LIVE IN FLORIDA. They are basically on vacation year-round by virtue of their location. Florida staff should be volunteer-only since they are living a vacation. There's also no need for any time off from their volunteer position since it's already a vacation to be living in Florida

how much time do you get off? How much time does your pastor get off? How much time does your boss get off? What is appropriate based upon type of job, responsibility and years on the job? Too many variables. I get 5 weeks after pastoring for 30 years. Unfortunately, too many times I have not been able to leave or been called back in the middle of time off due to emergencies of 1 kind or another. Without down time, it's hard to keep giving out. I don't begrudge anyone some time off. I just want them to work hard while they're working.
