Drove by a strip mall an seen a little store front church (which they aint a thing wrong with bein store front or little) named Love Fellowship Church INTERNATIONAL. Place could not a seated over 40 folk.Then, I seen another real small building with a sign what read Hope Ministries INTERNATIONAL. Agin, nothin wrong with bein either small.But what is with this Tiny Church INTERNATIONAL thing?

I guess it's akin to a certain denomination boasting of its international scope yet the top of the pyramid hovers over a small town called Cleveland. It's silly. Did the signs outside also boast of the leader being an apostle, prophet, or doctor?

Ole Timer, I think it's tied partly to WOF. These little churches think they are going to cast down everything ALL OVER THE WORLD that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ. They know they are starting small, but they are calling forth those things that be not as though they are. They are intending to reach THE WORLD for Christ.In answer to your question as to whether you should rename your ministry, I'd say that depends on how much faith you have.

International Church of God, Charleston, SC. As in all races welcomed and a vision for missions. Perhaps the church plan in the storefront of a strip mall (where you saw it) has such a vision. Some dream of a white middle class church in the suburbs and playing golf twice a week. Others have different dreams.

Probably just wanted to attract an international group of nay-sayers - of which otcp has America covered. International starts with one 10 check to a Romanian mission church. I recommend letting the ongoing process of sanctification do a work.As far as a therapist or counselor, I don't know. I wouldn't recommend a pastor or minister who doesn't have professional training, though. I think many pastors are well-intentioned, but are not qualified to do proper counseling. That's just my 2-cents' worth.
