I talked with a guy this week who told me that in the full gospel church he attends, you have to show your W2s to prove you really pay your tithes before serving in a leadership position.He seemed totally in favor of the idea.Your thoughts

Seems like over kill and also distrust amongst Christians. I cannot think of a church I would like to be a member strong enough to be 'forced' to show my w-2.I once had a great SS superintendent who never filled out a tithe envelope according to my clerk, and I had no problem believing he supported the church.
