Yes, if you are Calvinist. if you are a moderate Calvinist ala John Piper - faith and obedience work simultaneously. I believe that faith comes by hearing. The capacity to hear is first and hearing is the result and our choosing to believe ensues. Faith comes by obedience to what we hear.The capacity to hear is the gift of God and not faith as the Calvinist insist

nonsense, agreeyou have life due to the new birth and with life you have restored will to choose and faith follows hearing and obeying.the Wesleyans call this giving of life to choose prevenient grace -a semipelagian view
