Chunky neck feels perfect. For an acoustic, I found the Epi Masterbilt DR500MCE...all wood, no laminate. Easy playing up and down the neck. I have a D-21 that was built in 1964, and yes it is a tone monster. Typical Martin dread volume and chest rattling thump. The Brazilian just adds a whole nether level of tone. Right now she's out of commission, needing a neck reset and refret, which I'm saving up for “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why?
