Next week our church begins revival services with DA Leonard who posts on this board some .There was a man 46 years old associated with our church through his grandmother that had been saved in a revival with DA several years ago. He had gone back on the Lord.He has told his grandma all week this week - he knows he has to straighten his life out and come back to the Lord. He told her several times over the phone -I'll come to revival next week and ME AND GOD WILL GET EVERYTHING WORKED OUT....Today I am preaching his funeral - he had a massive heart attack Wednesday night while we were in church. She received the news as soon as she got home.Please help me pray that I can minister to this family today - - with the truth - but in love. . . .I am preaching from the book of Ruth 1:1-4on the thought TAKE A GOOD LOOK BEFORE YOU WALK AWAYPrayers are appreciated!! Thanks guys!! I really appreciate the comments and prayers.I gave an altar call and two people accepted Jesus into their hearts before we left today. Six people raised their hands that they were lost - although to be honest I'm sure most of the church was. . . .We've got work to do but I was encouraged by this family who was very hurt by the last pastor...or at least thats their story Pastor Mike IPHC Pastor
