It is the middle of May and I am surprised that there are not more posts of pontification and speculation. Therefore, I will initiate a new thread with the names that I will be voting for in the various positions. I look forward to this Assembly. I believe it will be an important and crucial time for our church!GO - Tim Hill - 243941st - J David Stephens - 171552nd - Thomas Propes - 245603rd - John Childers - 21067SG - Tom Madden - 27689World MissionsDirector - David Griffis - 19084Assistant - David Ramirez - 25027YouthDirector - David Blair - 32373Assistant - Rob Bailey - 52104Council of EighteenTony Stewart - 44095 Kip Box - 39041 Dennis McGuire - 16237David Smith - 47171 Kevin McGlamery - 45242Scott Shepard - 44949Travis Johnson - 46978Bill Lee - 33537Barry Clardy - 41220Bruce Rabon - 29097Niko Njotorahardjo - 43169Patrick Wooten - 40362Doug Anderson - 32444Michael Knight - 43709 Sean Oneal - 37991 Nick Park - 44724Les Higgins -27451

We must think about the next generation as we gather this year for the General Assembly. It is time that we band together and move the denomination forward with younger voices leading us. If we don't select young capable men to lead us, then our ability to reach the lost will not be maximized. Please, please, think younger.I am not going to fight about the tide for General Overseer. We all know that Tim Hill has already been anointed.GO: Tim Hill1: Bill Issacs2: Kevin Wallace3: Tony StewartSG: Tom MaddenCouncil of 18 (Think Younger)Joe Dobbins (Mo) #Travis Johnson (FL) #46978Scott Sheppard (NGA) #44949Mark Leonhardt (SC) #45461Jeremy Isaacs (NGA) #58239David Smith (Mega Church in Pueblo, Colorado)David Smith (NGA pastor)Barry Clardy (Ohio) #41220Chad Dingess (WVa) #53702Bill Wahl (Michigan) #45941Travis Hall (Michigan) #61460Jason Browning (TN) #55593Jason Daughdrill (TN) #62350Jeremy McGinnis (TN) #58817Kevin McGlamery (AL) #45242Kip Box (AL) #39041Elemi Samson (COG Israel) #56095Matt Propes (KY) #54662I am 54 years old and have been serving Stevens Creek for 28 years. We are in the top ten churches in the denomination. I will never forget walking off the stage after our 20th Anniversary at The Creek. The Lord said to me, You have been here longer than you will be here. That was a little shocking, but I changed that day. I started focusing on the next generation. We intentionally started hiring younger people on staff. I went to the Elders and told them to nominate people under 30. We were going to be aggressive in training young leaders and giving them an opportunity to lead.We have done that at Stevens Creek and I believe that's why we have grown exponentially.I want that same thing to happen for the Church of God. There are MANY qualified people my age that could be and probably will be on the list at the General Assembly, but could you do me a favor, please at least let's elect one or two young leaders. We must THINK [email protected]

I've been dropping in here on occasions, but haven't posted in awhile. I had to get in on this post, because I see some names being shared that I have been advocating for for years! It is exciting to see them listed by others. I believe the most critical elections at this assembly will be our Council of Eighteen! Here is my list:Tony Stewart - 44095Kip Box - 39041David Smith - 47171Kevin McGlamery - 45242Travis Johnson - 46978Barry Clardy - 41220Michael Knight - 43709Bryan Cutshall - 29172Sean Oneal - 37991Marty Baker - 26734Dennis McGuire - 16237Bruce Rabon - 29097Ishmael Charles - 30679

I wouldn't mind seeing something like this. All men who have served and served well Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8
