Mike Baker, now wrapping up six years as North GA AB, will be saying farewell to the state at a reception following the Summer Celebration to be held in Cartersville, GA (about 40 miles North of Atlanta) June 1-3. In making the announcement, here is what Mike Baker said:North Georgia Summer Celebration 2016 is a momentous gathering of pastors, ministers, and laity across the entire North Georgia region. This year will be both a special celebration and personally, a time of reflection as this year concludes our tenure as Administrative Bishop. I can't believe six years have passed, but six of the greatest years of ministry in my life. The Church of God constituents in North Georgia have been a phenomenal support throughout our challenges and successes.He continued, Our theme is Celebrating the Next Level. Summer Celebration 2016 is going to be an outstanding time for spiritual engagement and focusing upon the fantastic blessings of God during the past six years. We will convene at the Church at Liberty Square Church of God in Cartersville, June 1-3.Doyl
