The publishing arm of Pathway Press is still strong and vital. However, there is no longer a need for the massive printing press machinery that used to fill massive space in the basement of the Pathway building. Leadership made the wise decision years ago to outsource the printing of most materials. Like most everything else, digital technology has changed the dynamics of printing. What used to take several people and 4,000 square feet of machinery can now be done by one person at a computer and a printer that takes 10 square feet. Also, ready to print technology makes printing one book at a time as economical as printing 1,000 books.Pathway is well. I know they appreciate everyone's concern.
