How often do you observe Communion at your respective churches? Growing up, my pastor was very much into spontaneity and not much into planning anything. We rarely ever took Communion corporately.

Footwashing not an ordinance in our fellowship and I think Jesus teaching on servant leadership is an allegory not a mandate like the lord's supper or water baptism. Just my hermaneutics otcp. Yours is flawed.

Is observing communion the same as taking communion, or is it only observing other people taking it?
