You really can't say what is seemingly the truth about these racial issues. I imagine that just as most whites are turned off by the rednecks that live down to their stereotypes, so, too, are African Americas turned off by the blacks that live down to their stereotypes.We will never have an HONEST discussion about race until we can TRULY say things like, Hey, why do y'all 'always'...? And the questions need to go BOTH WAYS--from whites to blacks...and blacks to whites.I know that a number of African Americans that I know seemingly are very much against the worst elements of their race. They KNOW that they are being given a bad name by the unlawful.But here's the thing.... Yes, 13% or so of the population is African American. But it is NOT 13% of the U.S. population that is the problem when it comes to African Americans. It is a MINORITY of that 13% that are the real problem. Same with whites! It's not all the whites that are the problem...it's a small fraction of the whole population that creates the foolishness that blacks see, and which causes them to think that whites are some sort of rednecks when it comes to blacks. This is a SHAME!

No, it's not my fault he started out with a stupid statement that the president should ban the n*. I've got plenty of objectivity, but I have no compelling reason to hang in there with a video that starts out so poorly. I think you are assuming that I didn't know where he was going. You truly do underestimate me. But my point is there are surely plenty of people who can make commentary without starting out the way he did, and if he wants me to listen to him, he can skip the suggestion that the president ban the n*.

Bonnie, he actually is making the point that there are (at least) two classes of African American: The law-abiding ones...and the other ones (which he calls the n-word--and while we shouldn't use that term, I don't think it is beyond the pale for him to use it to describe his disgust at the lawbreakers that tend to smear that reputation of upstanding African Americans). I've heard old white people use the same terminology the same way. They say they are only referring to the lazy ones as n*. I'm not impressed.

He said something that I am guilty of. Even though I do honestly have a couple black friends. I know many black folk I ADMIRE, but when I do not know them, and there is a 'crowd', I try to avoid it because I do 'think' as he said he did about SNAKES, I know there are some that are not bad, but sometimes I don't have time to figure which snake will kill me and which will not. i.e.thinking, is it, 'Red on black bad for jack' or' Red on yellow kill a fellow', so I cannot remember which is the coral snake, so I avoid it.I thought it was a very good video and should be viewed by many.
