Back in the early 1990s as a college student in Georgia, I made some friends who had been up to MorningStar in North Carolina. They lent me some books on that. I went up to a couple of conferences up there with some other folks, camped out, and went to the meetings.I think I heard Paul Cain once. He had words of knowledge for people. I remember he called a couple out by name, had a specific word for them, maybe something about ministry to Native Americans or something along those lines, and said they weren't there, but were supposed to be there, and I guess other people were supposed to tell them the word. For some reason, that one stuck out in my memory. Some of the words were specific. I heard he'd seen people in the crowd, got their names through the word of knowledge and spoke with them. But I didn't see anything quite that amazing. That was before the news of a certain scandal broke. This is a video clip of Paul Cain giving words of knowledge. He gets rather detailed, and if what he says is spot on, it is rather impressive. He does apparently ask for certain people to waive their hands to confirm that what he said was true. My guess is this is at a Vineyard, probably the one in Anaheim because that looks like a stout John Wimber in the background. By the looks of him I'd guess that is is somewhere between the late '80's and the early to mid-'90's since John Wimber was so thin before he died. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OavygXBENUo
