I once told a young lady who was leaving Florida with her family. YOu will have a tough finding a church home away from here. The only pastor she had ever known was her dad.She told me later, I was right. They had a tough time, it took six months.Question: In your opinion, Are PK's normally good members? I'd like to think my children make good church members. They all go to different churches except for one who currently does not attend anywhere. I imagine there is always that comparison for them but I taught them early on to always give someone a fair chance. My oldest doesn't attend church but it's not because they don't think anyone can live up to me. They're just making poor life decisions right now.

I like to think I made a good member. True it is hard to find anyone who comes up to a dad who was a good pastor. I tried my best to not compare, but it is tough. Having an inside perspective does cause me pause, I do not want to make a man's job harder than it is.Now my only living sibling, I do pity the pastor. Seriously!
