The camp Meeting is being held at the Hickory Convention Center. I was expecting Bro C Moody to be preaching, since I did see his name listed at the night speaker. But we are having a different speaker each night. Chris is later this week when we will be gone.But a guy named J. David Stevens filled in for Chris and did a good job.I have to give C6th a hand here. Thanks dude, they used your nuclear amps for the music. I forgot my implant controls and had to just disconnect them. That is not really meant as a complaint. I am old and I do not like loud music, a personal thing because believe it or not, the decibels above 100 WILL damage some ears and being deaf, it does concern me..Besides that the nite was very good. Funny thing though, I replaced the implant devices and still could just barely hear half of Bro. Stevens message. My wife seldom complains (I do enough for both of us) but she said, I had to strain to understand Bro Stevens.It was a challenging message. and I am sure most of the attendees heard most of it. Good Stuff!We did have some old fashioned shouting (Bro Charles wuda liked that). However some of it was to the beat of the music.The auditorium was pretty well packed, it surprised me. It musta surprised the planners because before service the overflow area had to be opened.I think WNC will have a great Camp Meeting.LOL I did see several OLD preachers who were friends but they didn't know me, so I gave them a break and didn't bend their ears.
