Was in a department store yesterday and noticed a lot of decorations for the fourth of July. I thought that it would be nice to see a tasteful amount of those in and around our churches on the third. They are colorful and would suggest that we are patriotic as well as that we are timely.

Jim Price, I am as usual disagreeable but national patriotism has no place in a Christian worship service. I suppose all nations could be honored.
There is a song in one of the hymnals that honors people of every nation.
