WHAT A BLESSING ! This week my s.s. check came in as it has done for 18 years. ( 216 months ) it came in, in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I remember that 58 years ago some of the brethren tried to get me to opt out, and I did for a few years until my tax advisor convinced me to get back in, I so glad I did!
For nine of those years I had 4 times as much money coming in as I had from S. S. & so I had to pay back in and yes I regretted it but now I understand that I WAS HELPING OUT those who reached the end of life before I did, also my wife and I were able to help out a lot of people in a personal way. But year by year as payments ran out on the businesses that we sold were paid so for or in 3 cases defaulted we are left with only a small residual and it pays out soon.
