We elected Trump to be the base’s standard-bearer to the national Congress. This is the same Congress that sent Obama 61 Obamacare repeal bills and will not send Trump even one, nor will they pass border security or tax cuts. They want Trump to fail and they despise you, the people who put them in power. Trump is becoming more and more like John Tyler, a man who stood up to both parties and incurred their wrath________________
They will talk smack all day long about being against abortion, gay marriage, Obamacare (although that is not a moral issue, per se), but when it’s actually up to them to act, they run like the cowards they are. Why? Because they know THEY will be responsible for whatever passes, and they can’t bear the thought. As long as it was damaging someone else, it was fine. But now that it might damage them, they won’t act.
Though McConnell and Co may have egg on their faces now, at least it now appears that they are finally going to have to actually do what they all ran on–actually repealing Obamacare, instead of the ridiculous Obamacare-lite proposals they have been attempting to masquerade before us as ‘repeal and replace.’
They are losers on obamacare for sure. But, what bill was passed to allow abortion and gay marriage that the Republicans should repeal? Did you fail history class________________
They are losers on obamacare for sure. But, what bill was passed to allow abortion and gay marriage that the Republicans should repeal? Did you fail history class? The point is that THEY (the Republican–hey, notice that they are publicans!) won’t pass any laws against such! For instance, they could pass a law banning abortion after a certain point. It might be overturned; it might not. They could pass a law to protect the standard understanding of marriage. But they won’t.They could pass a law granting an exception to those who, for religious reasons, refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding. It’s not that there’s a law to replace. It’s that THEY will not make a law FOR their supposedly cherished beliefs.
Campaign promises often will typically include something to the effect of, I will do thus and such beginning on day one! People who believe that means such promises will in fact be possibly fulfilled on day one of a new administration apparently are unaware of the way the system works. The executive may truly desire to do something on day one, but until the legislature actually passes a bill and places it on his desk, there’s no way the promise will be fulfilled.
Blame him because he said repealing Obamacare would be easy. He forgot the easy strategy and caused all kinds of uproar as congress was dealing with the easy process.Blame him for bragging on the Russians and picking people with Russians connections for his cabinet who lied about the connections.
Like it or not, just like old Harry said, The Buck stops here. President Trump is the President of all the people, not just we that voted for him. This government has always gotten things done by compromise. YOu must talk not throw slurs and insults to get folks to work together. I had hoped by now he would have cut back on personal assaults on TWEETS. iT IS HARD TO GET A MAN’S COOPERATION BY CALLING HIM NAMES.I have sons who are hard nosed Trump folk. I do not dislike Trump, but the president needs the cooperation of Congress to get things done.I was sick of Obama’s statements like He could have been my son and backing the professor (against the cop) who could not get in his own house and had no ID.WE have national problems that need to be faced and handled Not some Wrestling personna________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
None of what you cite here is the real problem. The national Republicans are working for those who run the Federal Reserve. If Ted Cruz was POTUS, they’d be treating him the same way________________
