What is the The Smoke Screen? … Its the Super Delegates whom are not bound to vote according to the popular vote. ie. a vote for a leading politician could be close to the runner up but he is still ahead by virtue of of popular and electoral votes. However the Super delegates could vote for the runner up simply because they are not pledged to the popular vote, Thus swinging the runner up as the winner. You are right about the superdelegates, especially in the UN-DemocratiK party. The Republican equivelant are supposed to vote with the majority of their state as I recall.
