The Church of God needs to return to the upper room and NOT Schearer’s School House.
We don’t need the old time ways of the 19th century but we need the 1st century way of the apostles.
We need THAT old time religion! It was good enough for Peter then it good enough for me!
In 1900, ‘old time Pentecost’ and ‘old time religion’ meant the book of Acts. But with some preachers, I think they mean some kind of revival meeting in the 1930’s.
We need the upper room experience because they each one received a Personal Comforter and witness. They each one came out changed, empowered, and directed onto a personal ministry.
Just about like 1900 years later at Shearer’s School House.
It is not when, where, and what,
But Who….
The Holy Spirit/Ghost, the 3rd person of the God-Head.
May we return to and get Him.
Then do as He directs us.
