Tim this is exactly how I feel. The churches are worried about hurting people and not preaching the truth and when they do they candy coat it to not to offend anyone. People need to hear the truth. Any more if the Holy Ghost was to fall on a service people who would probably pass out or have a heart attack. Thanks for posting. It means a lot to know someone feels the same way. God Bless you

Get out of those modern churches. Don’t give them your tithes or offerings. Start new churches and continue to hold revivals wherever God opens the door. Preach holiness, separation from the world, the soon return of Christ for His Church, and demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost in your meetings.
This is just a sign of the times.
The only thing you can do with something dead, is bury it or resurrect it. It takes revival to resurrect a dead church. To many preachers can bury one but not many modern preachers can resurrect one. It takes Holy Ghost power to resurrect a dead church.

This brings tears to my eyes because its so true. I’m 70 now and don’t get to go to church. Raised our children in church and now they don’t go. My husband is deceased now but memories are strong. Don sang and preached his heart out. One of the most annointed ministers of music you would ever want to meet. Our church still sings his last song. Every Day Of My Life. Look it up you would enjoy it. Revival now begins with a pastor that is ready to spend time in prayer and then lead a church into revival mode. Pray for the right man for the job. Involve the whole church and community with lots of advertising. Yes, it takes finances, prayer, and commitment but its worth it.
