I played backyard, sandlot football as a kid. Never HS. Never saw or heard of Soccer until I was probably 14.The wife and I are in NC for a few weeks and our daily 3 mile walk takes us by several soccer fields. I stop and watch. It sure seems to me there is a lot more ‘exercise’ for the kids than USA football. Also seems like the coordination of moving a ball with your feet requires more coordination without the ‘Hit damage’ foot ball players are being diagnosed with.In your opinion will Soccer ever become a dominate sport in the USA?20 yrs, 30 yrs, 40 or never? Since we have some sports enthusiasts here, I though I would just ask________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
Yes.Lawyers will end American football. Then we will turn to something new________________
Good point, they are pretty good at that! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
Funny that, my son just said the same thing. I had never thought of it, but then the only full soccer game I have EVER watched was Grand kids and great grands at about 5 yrs old. That is entertaining like 5 yrs olds on the church stage! So it certainly doesn’t represent the sport.I thought the same thing, soccer must be physically demanding! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
I agree with Nature Boy that Lawyers will end American Football as we know it, but Soccer has more concussions than any other sport. While soccer will gain some interest it will never dominate American culture the way it does in the rest of the word________________
Thanks for that information, I did not know that. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
