Now, I know that a revival is a revival. There’s just one gospel. But I also know that some ministers seems particularly gifted to reach a particular audience. For whatever reason, our older, lily-white church (I suppose the average age of our most faithful members is in the 70s) attracts a group of young black kids from the neighborhood. They come to Sunday School, they help receive the offering, they sing in the youth choir, and they (in fact, a good number more of them) attend the mid-week service. But while some have confessed Jesus and been baptized, I was reading in Judges 2about that generation the KNEW not God. I have a feeling that most of these of these kids (mostly younger children and pre-teens) know more ABOUT Jesus than then know HIM.I feel like the Lord has laid it on my heart to seek revival for these children. We are a small church that cannot afford any sort of fair compensation, I’m afraid…but perhaps God will make up the difference.
You are doing a great work!

One of two men I have known for a long time. Tony Evans, asst Pastor at a large church in the Atlanta Metro area, (has done several youth camps, children crusades) or Joel Tally. Joel has also done several youth camps. Joel pastors the Winder Ga. Cog. Joel continues to preach revivals while pastoring. You may know his dad, Jim Tally. Jim served as a Missions Rep for over 20 years. Great people. Both of these men will bring much excitement to your youth as well as the adults. I can provide contact for either.Either would probably come for whatever you can give them________________Recorded Sermons @ http://www.pastorwiley.com
Do you know someone who does street witnessing or more ‘social’ one-on-one soul-winning who presents a clear Gospel message? It would be really good if you could find someone in your church who does that. Train the youth, and older folks, too, in evangelism. Ask the people, especially the young folks who are Christians, to pray for a harvest among the youth in the community. They could pray once a week. Give it a year and see if you don’t see a lot of them coming to the Lord________________

I was really enjoying Aaron’s post comments. This is a very good subject and doesn’t need nor require hi-jacking.Since the youth WAS/IS a big interest of mine I am enjoying reading of young men/women who excel in reaching the youth. I am aged out physically (and in ideas) but WE NEED young folk who CAN AND DO reach the youth. It took me more than 50 times at an alter, before I finally grasped the idea of being a Christian. I know no other preacher’s kid needed that! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
