Who would you draft to run for overseer in 2020? In my opinion the man for the job is Marty Baker. This guy has impacted the Church world so far beyond the local church and the church of God. Honestly we need him more then he needs us. The guy runs a tech company that revolutionized how tithes and offerings are received in the church. He would cement us to look towards the future. The question is would he do it? Why would he leave a highly successful church and company to take the reigns of a fledging denomination. It would defiantly be a step in a new direction for him, but I have no doubt in my mind he would do a fantastic job. Marty has the experience________________
Good luck with your interview at Stevens Creek.Hopefully Marty will see this before then. ________________

My list probably looks a lot like the executive committee list

Great list. All good choices. I would like to see Marty baker because the guy is somewhat of an outsider but not alien to our system. I think if he would grace/bless us with the opportunity he would be the fresh EYES the Church of God needs to go to the future. You got to understand churches from coast to coast using him as a giving consultant. Guys like Steven Furtick________________
You guys think Tim Hill might have a different idea about 2020?
NBF…you are usually WAAAAYYY slower than me, but not this time.

OTCP, he is my pre GA draft choice. ________________

Overseer (AB) of what state?I don’t know where Marty lives________________Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!Email me at: [email protected] planters are focused on just one thing …introducing people to Jesus!
I don’t know who Marty is. What state?
Re: You guys think …
I was referring to state not general. 2020 is a lock for Tim Hill! I only know a few of the guys you listed personally, but you do think many of them would leave their churches to be a state overseer? I’m just not seeing that.
Does it really matter who the G.O. is________________
Not as much as the G.O. wants to believe it does. That’s why having great systems and policies in place are so important. The G.O. is a manager, not a worker bee________________“Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why?
